Rites of Passage
Helping Bring a Purpose-Driven Book to Life
I helped bring Sonya D. Ferreira's vision for Rites of Passage: Raising Sons to Be Men of Standard to life through publishing, creative direction, brand development, and its connection to the broader Emissary Way platform.
The Situation
Rites of Passage began with Sonya D. Ferreira's desire to help parents prepare boys for adulthood with greater intention, character, responsibility, and purpose. Turning the manuscript into a finished publication required a visual and publishing system that could support both the book itself and the larger mission developing around it.
What I Did
Through Featherworks Publications and Emissary Way, I supported the project across publishing, creative direction, visual development, production, marketing, and the digital experiences surrounding the book.
My role was not to shape Sonya's authorship, but to help make sure the finished experience carried her vision clearly and consistently from manuscript to publication and into the wider Emissary Way ecosystem.
